Born and raised in Orange County, Sally has been in the Coachella valley since 2008. She has been a licensed Esthetician since 2006 and began working in day spa settings and believes in combining effective clinical treatments with a soothing touch. Sally made her home with SkinLab in 2020 after working independently for several years. She obtained her Skinceuticals Professional Level Aesthetician certification and is working towards the Master Level. Skincare has been her passion since before she even knew what an esthetician was! Sally loves educating her clients and helping them find regimens for their different concerns, lifestyles and budgets.

Meet Sara, one of our medical estheticians here at SkinLab. Since joining the team in 2024, Sara has provided memorable medical facials, HydraFacials, dermaplaning, oxygen infusion facials, chemical peels, and microneedling. Sara is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to SkinCeuticals products and can get you started on a daily regimen to help you achieve your skin concerns and goals! Originally from Oregon, Sara has been living in the beautiful desert since 2015. Sara is passionate about giving her patients the best results-driven facials and skincare. When not working in the office, Sara loves to be pool side - of course lathered in her favorite Skinceuticals sunscreen!

With nearly five years of experience in aesthetics, Bri is passionate about helping patients look and feel like the most refreshed version of themselves. Before entering the world of cosmetic medicine, she worked in pediatric oncology and home hospice at Loma Linda University, where she developed a deep appreciation for compassionate, patient-centered care.

Specializing in full facial balancing, Bri takes a customized approach using a combination of biostimulators, dermal filler, neurotoxins, and advanced laser and light-based treatments including Moxi and BBL to create natural, harmonious results. Her philosophy is centered around enhancing each patient’s unique features while maintaining authenticity and confidence.

She is proud to be recognized as a Master Expert Injector through the Allergan Medical Institute. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Azusa Pacific University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Coast University.

In addition to aesthetics, Bri also works at the practice’s sister location, Cosmetic Surgery Institute (CSI), where she assists in the operating room and supports a variety of plastic surgery procedures. This hands-on surgical experience further enhances her comprehensive understanding of facial and body aesthetics, allowing her to provide thoughtful, well-rounded patient care.

Outside of work, she is a self-proclaimed Disney enthusiast and spends much of her free time visiting Disneyland Resort with her new baby — often as frequently as once a week.

Born and raised in Southern California, Danielle has been living in the Coachella Valley since 2004. A registered nurse since 2018 who began her career in Emergency medicine, Electrophysiology and Cardiopulmonary procedures, she is an esthetic nurse injector and laser specialist who values enhancing the natural beauty of her clients. Danielle’s goal is to create an environment where her clients feel comfortable. Each consultation she provides will be authentic focusing on the unique, individual goals of the client and providing them with lasting results and exceptional outcomes. Valuing health and wellness, Danielle is always looking for new ways to improve her physical and mental well-being. Danielle enjoys continued education in esthetics, being physically active, traveling, and spending time with her wonderful husband and her sweet labradoodle named Tully, who she adores and takes everywhere. Tully even has her own Instagram page!

Meet Candis, a dedicated Nurse with a passion for aesthetics from Southern California. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UC Riverside and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Colorado Christian University. With eight years of nursing experience, Candis has specialized in aesthetics, lasers, and injectables for the past six years. Candis excels in assisting with aesthetic transformations and empathizes with individuals dealing with skin-related self-consciousness. She is dedicated to facial balancing and ensuring natural, effortless results. She is passionate about collaborating with her patients to help them achieve their desired skin-related goals. At home, Candis enjoys life with her husband, her adorable little boy, and her great dane, Buddy. She loves reading and cherishes family time.

Born and raised in the Coachella Valley, Mary Anne Sanchez has been serving her community with a passion for aesthetic medicine. A Registered Nurse since 2011 and a Nurse Practitioner for over five years, she began her career in General Surgery before discovering her love for injectables and advanced aesthetic treatments. Mary Anne specializes in Botox, Dysport, dermal fillers, and laser treatments, helping her clients enhance their natural beauty with a subtle, refreshed look. She strives to create a comfortable, welcoming environment where every consultation is personalized and focused on each patient's unique goals. Outside of work, Mary Anne enjoys continuing education in aesthetics, staying active through weightlifting, living a healthy lifestyle, traveling, spending quality time with her family, and giving back to the community by volunteering with Coachella Valley Volunteers in Medicine.

Dr. Mo Zakhireh, a board-certified plastic surgeon in Palm Desert serving Palm Springs, La Quinta, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, Riverside, Orange County, and other nearby communities.

A Texas Tech Medical School graduate, Dr. Zakhireh completed his general surgery residency at UCLA Harbor. Upon finishing a plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Utah, Dr. Zakhireh was invited to join the staff as a professor of plastic surgery.

Meet Marisa, whose career in aesthetics began in 2003 when she became an Esthetician. Marisa was always drawn to the beauty world working at a hair salon in her teen years, doing wedding makeup and working at the Chanel counter. She holds a degree in Journalism with a Minor in Public Relations, which gave her a strong background in communications and marketing. In 2005, Marisa moved to the desert to start a family and begin her career path with CSI as a Medical Esthetician. She was promoted to Director of Skincare in 2019 where she managed the skincare department. With her goal and dream to grow CSI, Marisa and her partners, Dr. Mo Zakhireh and Tamara Sullivan, opened SkinLab in 2020. Today, Marisa manages the daily operations of SkinLab. Advising and guiding patients on their skincare journey, Marisa empowers her team to provide the best patient care, overall results and exceptional customer service. In October 2024, Marisa will complete the Mastering SkinCeuticals Professional Practice Leader certification. She is a board member for Shays Warriors, a local non-profit for cancer survivors. In her free time, you will find her working out at a barre class, spending time with her family and singing karaoke!

Tamara is a Colorado Native who moved to the Coachella Valley in 2002 to pursue a career in the Aesthetic Industry. With extensive experience in business management and marketing, she became the Practice Manager for Cosmetic Surgery Institute in 2008. With a strong desire to grow the business and open a second location, Dr. Mo Zakhireh, Marisa Rivera and Tamara opened SkinLab in the busiest shopping district in Palm Desert in 2020. Tamara continues to manage the daily operations of the surgery center and business operations of SkinLab. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband and two boys traveling, golfing and skiing

Meet Chandace, a Coachella Valley native with a passion for skincare.

With years of management experience in the esthetics industry, she decided to follow her love for skincare into the treatment room. Combining science-backed treatments with a touch of relaxation, Chandace is dedicated to helping clients achieve their best skin. As a SkinCeuticals Ambassador, she takes pride in crafting personalized skincare routines tailored to each patients needs.

Outside of work, you’ll find her dancing in her cowgirl boots at a country concert, hitting the gym, or with her nose in a good book.

Originally from Los Angeles, Amanda moved to Palm Desert in 2012 and quickly fell in love with the community and its lifestyle. Her passion for skincare and helping others feel confident inspired her to pursue a career in aesthetics, receiving an esthetician license in 2024. Amanda currently works as a front desk representative at SkinLab allowing her to connect with clients throughout their entire experience, from their first visit to achieving their skincare goals. She takes pride in creating personalized regimens and offering treatment recommendations that combine relaxation with real, lasting results. Amanda’s goal is always to provide a welcoming, supportive environment where people feel cared for and confident in their skin. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her cat, lounging by the pool and staying connected with the people she cares most about!
